TEACHERS AND OTHER COACHES WANTING TO DELIVER VOLLEYBALL IN SCHOOLS

VOLLEYSPORT and MINI VOLLEY are introductory courses for Volleyball in a school environment

VOLLEYSPORT is a 4-hour course which is designed for teachers with little or no experience of volleyball, working at Key Stage 1 and 2 or coaches working with groups starting volleyball for the first time.

MINI VOLLEY is a 4-hour course which is primarily aimed at secondary teachers (KS3), coaches who have an existing Level 1 award or who have previously attended the VolleySport course

These courses are very useful even for experienced club coaches, before working in a school environment and with younger beginners. Yorkshire Volleyball hope to organise these courses in combination with a junior event.

SUPPORT WITH FUNDING

Coaching and other course can be quite costly. Sport England have put together a guide to the funding support that it is available to help clubs and individuals.
