Love them or loathe them, you can't play a competitive match without a referee. Remember to show some respect to the people who come to referee your matches. The leagues would not run without them.  

 

The Regional Referees Officer, Diane Hollows, is here to help develop referees in Yorkshire. She may not be able to referee your match tomorrow, but is able to advise you on setting up referees and scorers courses and will help the development of any Volleyball England registered referees in Yorkshire.

GRADE 4 REFEREES COURSE

Venue: Gryphon Sports Centre, Woodsley Road, Leeds

Date: Saturday 14 November - Sunday 15 November 2009, 9 am to 5 pm Both Days

Course Content  

Theory The Rules of the Game, Completion of a Scoresheet, 

Practical Work You need to wear sports kit, preferably a shirt with a number. You also need to bring a whistle, pen and paper.  


Course Fee: £35.00 Cheques payable to Yorkshire Volleyball Association.

Includes tuition, examination fee, FIVB Rule Book and Scorers Handbook.


Confirmation details will be sent to you along with a rule book and directions to venue.



Maximum participants: 20.
