Level 1 Volleyball Coaching Award Course 
  



The Level 1 course is is the basic introductory coaching award. It aims to enable the coach to assist in the introduction of volleyball to a group of inexperienced adults or children in a safe, controlled and enjoyable manner. Knowledge and understanding of tactics and skills is developed through a progression of small-sided games based on three modules that address the VolleySport, Mini Volley and Super Mini Volley formats (Volleyball England website). Opportunities are provided for candidates to build their experience of practical coaching in a group setting and the assessment of candidates is completed by a formal written examination.

You Need

  1. Playing kit. Bring some warm gear as it can get cool in the sports hall when you are not active!
  2. Pen, pencil and paper.
  3. A packed lunch, as there are limited opportunites to purchase food or drink on the site.

The cost for the course includes your first year's Volleyball England coaches registration
